Sitges Tourism

Activity continues at the Sitges Town Council’s Department of Tourism

The Department of Tourism continues to work in order to promote Sitges with a view to the upcoming months.

As a result of the latest decisions affecting the tourism sector made by the Generalitat, Catalonia’s autonomous Government, and the Spanish Government in light of the situation caused by the Coronavirus, the Department of Tourism continues to work in order to promote Sitges with a view to the upcoming months.

We are working from the Department in coordination with the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Catalan Tourism Agency to join forces, and new promotional activities are also being outlined to reinforce Sitges’ presence in different channels. In this regard, we are prioritizing local markets and online campaigns with the final goal of inspiring and attracting new visitors and tourists for the 2020 summer season. Other actions such as in-person attendance at industry fairs and meetings are currently on standby awaiting the evolution of the situation.

The Department’s staff, following the guidelines adopted by the Sitges Town Council, is performing their tasks via internet, adjusting to organizational needs at all times.

Following these same guidelines, the Tourist Information Office is closed to the public until further notice. However, we will continue to answer all enquiries from tourists and visitors via email at turisme@sitges.cat and Sitges Tourism’s social networks.
